Entomogen Inc. is the industry leader in West Nile Virus (WNV) mosquito surveillance. We have been actively engaged in West Nile Virus research since 2001 when the virus first appeared in Southern Ontario. Our Managing Director has been with the firm since we started with West Nile Virus mosquito surveillance.

We have been conducting Eastern Equine Encephalitis virus (EEEV) testing since 2004. In 2009 Entomogen Inc. was the first company to detect Eastern Equine Encephalitis Virus in the mosquito population in Canada.

President Dr. Fiona F. Hunter, is a Medical Entomologist and Biology Professor at Brock University. Her research focuses on a variety of topics dealing with mosquitoes from population studies to virus transmission.
